In a statement posted on Twitter/X, McMahon thanked Trump for entrusting her with the role. “Thank you Mr. President for your trust in me to serve as Secretary of Education and I am hopeful of Senate confirmation,” she wrote. “I am deeply honored and humbled for this opportunity and I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure every student has access to a quality education.”
McMahon’s statement emphasized her focus on improving education for all students, regardless of background, and highlighted her belief in the transformative power of both traditional education and apprenticeship programs.
