Adam Cole isn’t ready to let MJF off the hook, even after missing his chance to face him at AEW Full Gear.

The fan-favorite star came up short against Konosuke Takeshita on the November 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, eliminating him from the running to face MJF. Meanwhile, Roderick Strong punched his ticket to the big match by defeating Lance Archer for his third consecutive singles win.

In a interview with 94WIP, Cole opened up about his frustrations with MJF’s tactics, accusing the former AEW World Champion of stacking the deck in his favor. “I feel like Max does what Max always does and that’s try at every turn to put everything in his favor,” Cole said.

Despite the setback, Cole is confident that Roderick Strong will deliver in their Full Gear clash. “I know Roddy is gonna smash him and get his hands on him at the pay-per-view,” he stated. But Cole made it clear his rivalry with MJF is far from over. “I’m not done, even though I did not win those three matches, I will in some way, shape, or form eventually get my hands on MJF, it just won’t be this Saturday.”

Cole also revealed he’s been giving Strong some insider advice ahead of the match. “I do understand that I know Max better than anyone literally in the history of AEW,” he shared. “By no means will I be involved [in the match], I’m gonna let Roddy do his thing, I know he can handle himself, but yeah, me and Roddy will definitely have some private conversations. We actually already have.”

Adam Cole’s determination to settle the score with MJF promises fireworks down the line, even if it won’t happen at Full Gear. Fans will undoubtedly be watching closely to see how this explosive rivalry continues to unfold.
