Toni Storm is stepping out of the spotlight—and possibly for good. The former AEW Women’s Champion is claiming she’s retiring from pro wrestling, citing a string of losses across multiple promotions as the reason for her exit.

Storm hasn’t been seen on AEW television since losing the AEW Women’s Title to Mariah May at AEW All In. While she’s popped up in matches for CMLL and STARDOM, the once-dominant wrestler has failed to rack up wins, leaving her confidence in tatters.

“I’m not used to being a loser,” Storm confessed during an interview with SB Nation. “I’ve failed at everything. I lost in AEW, I lost in Japan, I lost in Mexico. This is the last you’ll hear from me again. Enjoy Mariah May as your champion. You can all enjoy that. AEW is just fine without me. Everything is going well for AEW. They don’t need Toni Storm.”

Adding to the drama, Storm declared she has no plans for another public appearance and closed her interview with a cryptic farewell: “Chin down. Tits in. Don’t bother watching for the shoe.”

Fans may remember her cinematic “Where in the World is Toni Storm?” video that dropped on October 30th, fueling speculation about her next move. However, with these latest comments, Storm seems intent on disappearing from the wrestling world altogether.

As for AEW, the spotlight is now on Mariah May, who’s set to celebrate her championship reign with Mina Shirakawa at AEW Full Gear. With Storm seemingly bowing out, the promotion looks ready to move forward without one of its former biggest stars.

Do you think Toni Storm’s retirement is the end of her wrestling journey, or could this be part of a bigger storyline? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
