John Cena has a lot going on, and there are a number of places who would love to have him come in and do his thing. Although baseball may be out of his traditional wheelhouse, John Cena is more than welcome with one of the world’s most popular baseball teams.

Just this week, The Savannah Banana mascot, Split, made it clear that John Cena is welcomed back for their 2025 season. After all, he made a big splash in his one plate appearance last season.

The Savannah Bananas tweeted out a photo of an award with “Best Guest Appearance” on it. The caption read, “Hey @JohnCena, we’ve got a gift for you waiting at the office!” They were serious, and so was Cena, apparently.

John Cena saw this tweet from the Savannah Bananas in his mentions, and he had to reply. Along with a selfie at historic Grayson Stadium, Cena made a play on his iconic WWE catchphrase.

“I was just there!! Guess you couldn’t see me?”

We will have to see if John Cena makes a return to the Savannah Bananas for any reason. If anything, they would certainly love to have him back for just an inning on the ball field.

The Savannah Bananas have big plans for 2025. The team is gearing up for a nationwide tour, where they are expected to play in front of 2 million fans. The tour includes stops at several MLB stadiums, meaning there’s always a chance they could end up performing near wherever John Cena happens to be.

John Cena’s schedule is certainly busy with his 2025 farewell tour in WWE. Fans will see him in the ring a few more times before he hangs up his jorts for real, but only time will tell if he suits up in yellow for the Savannah Bananas as well.
