It’s Wednesday night and you know what that means! The AEW Full Gear go-home episode of Dynamite will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the November 20, 2024 episode.

AEW Dynamite Results (11/20/2024):

The show opens up with the Guns N’ Roses’ “November Rain” AEW Full Gear video package that originally aired on Collision this past Saturday night.

Excalibur then welcomes us to the show with Tony Schiavone and “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard and runs through the Full Gear card.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is the All Star 8-Man Tag Team Match.

All Star 8-Man Tag Team Match: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Ricochet and Mark Davis vs. Don Callis Family (AEW International Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita, ROH World TV Champion “The Machine” Brian Cage, “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher and “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer)

The match starts off with Ricochet, Powerhouse Hobbs, Mark Davis and Will Ospreay going after The Don Callis Family on the entrance ramp and all eight men begin brawling with each other. Kyle Fletcher then sends Ospreay crashing into one of the barricades midsection first as Hobbs hits a right hand on Lance Archer. Davis and Konosuke Takeshita then get inside the ring. Takeshita then wears Davis down with a side headlock, but Davis nails Takeshita with a back body drop and follows it up with a senton. Ricochet then tags in and flies over the top rope to land on Takeshita on the outside. Brian Cage then hits a clothesline on Davis, then sends Ospreay crashing into the steps using them to squash Hobbs’ leg in the process. Hobbs is then helped to the back by a member of the medical team as Ricochet wears Archer down in the ring. Archer then pulls Ospreay off the ropes, then sends Ricochet over the top rope crashing onto Ospreay and Davis on the outside. Takeshita and Ricochet then exchange right hands with one another. Ricochet then rolls Takeshita up, but Takeshita kicks out. Ricochet then nails Takeshita with a back elbow, then tags in Ospreay as Fletcher tags in on his side. Ospreay and Fletcher then deliver some strikes on each other and Ospreay nails Fletcher with a right hand and a springboard kick.

Takeshita then tags in and Davis places him on his shoulders to send him crashing into a kick from Ospreay. Ospreay and Davis then hit an assisted cutter on Takeshita and get him up, but Cage and Archer come to Takeshita’s aid and take down Ospreay and Davis. Fletcher then beats Ospreay down as Hobbs slowly makes his way back down to ringside. Fletcher then meets him on the entrance ramp, but Hobbs turns Fletcher inside out with a clothesline. Hobbs then tags in and turns Takeshita inside out with a clothesline. Hobbs then nails Archer and Cage with a double clothesline, then hits a scoop powerslam on Archer and tags in Davis. Takeshita then looks to hit Davis with a knee, but Davis sees him coming and hits a piledriver on him. Davis then goes for a pin, but Fletcher kicks out. Fletcher then gets in Davis’ face, but Davis delivers some right hands on him. Ospreay then hits a standing Spanish Fly on Fletcher. Ospreay then looks to follow it up with the Hidden Blade, but accidentally hits Davis. Takeshita then exposes his knee and hits a running knee on Davis for the win.

The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta) are then shown at an undisclosed location. Moxley speaks while putting his hands on the shoulder of Yuta, who is seated in front of him. Moxley says Orange Cassidy is a threat to his people and he will destroy him at Full Gear. Castagnoli then yells about Darby Allin and then calmly says he will end him.

Darby Allin is then shown in another part of the building holding his skate board. Allin says Castagnoli put the chair around the neck of Bryan Danielson and pulled the trigger on his career. Allin then says every one of The Death Riders will have their day and today is Claudio’s day.

Excalibur then hypes the Continental Classic tournament starting next Wednesday.

We then see Renee Paquette greeting The Hurt Syndicate as they arrive in a white SUV. MVP announces that Bobby Lashley will be in action tonight. Swerve Strickland then shows up and throws a punch that sends Lashley to the ground. Swerve then laughs and runs away and MVP and Shelton Benjamin helps Lashley get back to his feet.

Adam Cole then makes his way down to the ring to address the AEW fans. Cole starts off by saying he wishes he was getting his hands on MJF at Full Gear. Cole then says Roderick Strong will face MJF and they have the same goal of giving MJF the ass whooping of a lifetime. Kyle O’Reilly then makes his way down to the ring. O’Reilly recalls that he and Cole had their second match together 14 years ago in Reading. O’Reilly then says he knows Cole better than anyone. O’Reilly then says the crusade with MJF needs to end before someone gets hurt. O’Reilly then says Strong wants to end MJF because of Cole and he doesn’t have a good feeling about it. Cole then asks O’Reilly if he doesn’t think Strong can get the job done. O’Reilly then says MJF is likely three steps ahead of them. O’Reilly then says Cole needs to accept that MJF is more of an evil bastard than he’ll ever be and that’s a good thing. O’Reilly then drops the mic and leaves the ring.

We then head to the back, where Orange Cassidy cuts a promo. Cassidy talks about making an example out of Wheeler Yuta later in the show and beating Jon Moxley alone. Mark Briscoe, Rocky Romero and Tomohiro Ishii then show up. Briscoe says they will have Cassidy’s back. Cassidy then asks them to stay out of it. Cassidy then looks into the camera and tells Moxley to do what he’s going to do tonight, but on Saturday he’ll need all the help he can get.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Kris Statlander vs. Hikaru Shida

The match starts off with both women shaking hands with each other. Statlander then sends Shida crashing into the mat face first, but Shida responds with an arm drag on Statlander and hits her with a step-up knee in the corner. Shida then delivers some right hands on Statlander, but Statlander trips Shida and hits her with a standing moonsault. Statlander then wears Shida down with a shoulder submission and hits her with a jumping knee ss she’s draped from the apron. Shida then sends Statlander crashing into the mat. Statlander then returns the favor, but Shida rolls Statlander up. Statlander then kicks out, but Shida hits her with a Falcon Arrow. Shida then hits a German suplex on Statlander and sets up for the Katana, but Statlander sees her coming and hits her with Saturday Night Fever for the win.

After the match, Statlander helps Shida up but Mercedes Moné’s music hits and she makes her way out alongside Kamille. Moné says Statlander scored an incredible victory tonight and brags about being TBS Champion longer than Statlander. Moné then orders Kamille to attack Statlander, but Statlander and Shida nail her. Moné then jumps Statlander and looks to hit a backstabber on her, but Statlander counters into Saturday Night Fever on Moné and holds up the TBS Championship.

We then head to the back, where MVP and Shelton Benjamin had a cameraman follow them while they are going after Swerve Strickland. MVP and Benjamin then finds a man wearing Swerve’s coat and attacks him.

We then get a video package of “Switchblade” Jay White and “Hangman” Adam Page talking about their match at Full Gear.

The Hurt Syndicate then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Cheeseburger and Joe Keys are already waiting inside.

2-On-1 Handicap Match: The Hurt Syndicate’s “The All Mighty” Bobby Lashley vs. Cheeseburger and Joe Keys

The match starts off with Lashley dragging Cheeseburger into the ring. Lashley then hits a DDT on Cheeseburger, then follows it up with a clothesline and gets him up on one shoulder. Lashley then sends Cheeseburger crashing into the mat and goes for a pin, but Keys breaks the fall. Lashley then sends Keys crashing into the mat, then hits a Spear and cinches in The Hurt Lock on him. Keys then passes out.

After the match, Swerve Strickland’s music hits and Prince Nana appears on the entrance ramp. Benjamin then goes after Nana, but Strickland emerges from under the ring and hits a House Call on Lashley. Strickland then follows it up with a Swerve Stomp. Strickland then leaves the ring and stands in the crowd for a stare-down.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is speaking with AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa about the champagne celebration they will have at Full Gear. May says in her division you hold the title belt or you die. Shirakawa then says she is very proud of May and will give her a celebration. May then says they will turn Rampage into Glampage. May and Shirakawa then both shake their chests.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: The Death Riders’ AEW World Trios Champion Claudio Castagnoli vs. Darby Allin

The match starts off with Allin sending Castagnoli crashing into the mat with an arm drag. Allin then looks to hit a Coffin Drop off the ropes on the outside, but Castagnoli intercepts him and sends him crashing into one of the barricades. Castagnoli then follows it up with a running uppercut that sends Allin crashing over the barricade, then gets him back inside the ring in a delayed vertical suplex position. Castagnoli then sends Allin crashing into the corner and sends him into one of the barricades on the outside. Castagnoli then sends Allin back into the ring, but Allin rolls out of the other side. Allin then traps Castagnoli into the ring apron, then flies through the ropes to land on him on the outside. Allin then sends Castagnoli back in the ring and climbs up the ropes, but Castagnoli trips Allin and hits him with a Gut Wrench suplex off the ropes. Allin then rolls Castagnoli up, but Castagnoli kicks out. Allin then hits a Code Red on Castagnoli and pins him, but Castagnoli kicks out and delivers some uppercuts on Allin in the corner. Castagnoli then delivers some right and left hands on Allin’s midsection, then sends him crashing off the apron with a big boot and sends him crashing into the ring steps with The Swing. Castagnoli then sends Allin over the commentary desk and clears it, then hits him with a Gorilla Press through the table in the timekeeper’s area. Castagnoli then gets back inside the ring and the referee begins a ten count. Allin then beats it, but Castagnoli nails him with a clothesline for the win.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is interviewing AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party (Zay and Quen). Paquette says they don’t have to be pinned to lose the titles in the 4-Way at Full Gear. Quen then speaks briefly about defending the titles. The Costco Guys then show up and Big Boom A.J. says they have a big announcement coming up next.

We then see video footage of MJF pulling up to a building in a sports car. A man is shown shaking his cup looking for change. MJF then tosses some change and tells the man to go get it. MJF then cuts a promo about Roderick Strong growing up with alcoholic parents. MJF then says Strong’s mother shot his father in front of Strong. MJF then says Strong’s upbringing is the reason Strong will do anything for Cole. MJF then says Cole is a fraud, but he thinks deep down he actually cares about Strong. MJF then says he wants Cole to watch a person he cares about suffer. MJF then says he will send Strong back to the trailer park. MJF then says he will beat him so badly that Strong will wish his mother had shot him instead.

Renee Paquette then speaks with Big Boom A.J. and Big Justice. AJ says something about how it started when he threw the double chunk chocolate cookies. A.J. then says when he powerbombs QT Marshall through the mat, The Rizzo will ring the bell.

We then see Tony Schiavone standing by with The Undisputed Kingdom on the entrance ramp. Strong starts off by saying he hasn’t slept since last Wednesday because he will finally get his hands on MJF. Strong then says people have talked about his parents his entire life. Strong then says he felt like he was in elementary school again. Strong then says if you want to break the cycle, you have to earn it. Strong then says when things don’t go MJF’s way, he throws a temper tantrum until he gets what he wants. Strong then tells MJF to look in the mirror and think about all of the bad things he’s done to people. Strong then says MJF will pay for all of his sins at Full Gear. Strong then says he will sleep well knowing that he broke MJF’s back and left him humbled.

We then get a video package of Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard tying Jack Perry to the front of his bus and driving away. Menard then sets up footage of Perry tied to a chair. Garcia throws water on him. Garcia says Perry has tried to end Menard’s life. Perry then speaks about how everyone has a code until they have to sacrifice. Garcia then says Perry has no idea how much he’s had to sacrifice. Garcia then grabs a tire iron and breaks one of the headlights on Perry’s bus. Perry then laughs and asked if that was it. Garcia then leaves the room. Menard then tells Perry that he has a horseshoe up his ass.

We then head to the back, where Renee Paquette is with ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and Tomohiro Ishii to sign the contract for their ROH World Championship Match. Jericho takes the contract to have it looked over by his lawyers, but Ishii follows him. Jericho then tries escaping Ishii, but Ishii chases him out to ringside. Jericho then claims that he can’t sign the contract because he doesn’t have a pen, but Ishii hands him one. Jericho then signs the contract, but Big Bill and Bryan Keith blindside Ishii. Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero then make their way out to even the odds and Ishii hits Jericho with a Brainbuster and signs the contract.

Commentary then hypes up the main event coming up next.

Renee Paquette then interviews Jamie Hayter and asks her about being cut off last week. Hayter says she is baffled by Julia Hart’s video interrupting her. Hayter then brings up having a chat with Hart and then they cut to the next Hart video. The Hart video has a narrator, who speaks about the black throne and how Hart’s heart is getting harder.

We then get the entrances of the main event of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: The Conglomeration’s “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. The Death Riders’ AEW World Trios Champion Wheeler Yuta

The match starts off with Yuta dropkicking Cassidy into the corner. Yuta then hits a chop on Cassidy, but Cassidy rolls him up. Yuta then kicks out and Cassidy hits a Stun Dog Millionaire on Yuta, then follows it up with a tope suicida on the outside. Yuta then sends Cassidy crashing into one of the barricades neck first and hits him with a DDT. Cassidy then hits a kick on Yuta’s face and delivers some right hands on him. Yuta then responds with an Angle Slam, but Cassidy hits him with a Michinoku Driver and looks to hit him with the Orange Punch. Yuta then avoids it and hits Cassidy with a modified Tombstone. Yuta then goes for a pin, but Cassidy kicks out. Yuta then delivers some Hammer and Anvil Elbows on Cassidy and locks in the Cattle Mutilation on him. Cassidy then gets his feet on the bottom rope to break the hold, but Yuta grabs a chair from the ringside area and slides it inside the ring. Yuta looks to hit Cassidy with it, but Cassidy moves out of the way and rolls up Yuta for the win.

After the match, Cassidy approaches Yuta, but PAC attacks Cassidy. Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Marina Shafir then shows up. Castagnoli then put Cassidy’s hands in his pockets and then PAC wraps duct tape around Cassidy body. Excalibur then says the entire locker room needs to empty to save Cassidy. The Death Riders then toy with Cassidy. Moxley then slaps Cassidy across the face. The Death Riders then pushes Cassidy, who responds with light kicks. Moxley then punches Cassidy. Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii and Kyle O’Reilly then make their way out, causing The Death Riders to make their exit. Briscoe then cuts the tape off of Cassidy’s arms. Cassidy then looks at The Death Riders and puts his shades on and his hands in his pockets. Cassidy’s theme music then plays and the show comes to a close.
