Adam Cole Wants a Rematch with Ricochet Under the AEW Spotlight

Adam Cole is ready to run it back! Now both part of AEW’s stacked roster, Cole and Ricochet haven’t squared off since their battles in NXT back in 2018 and 2019. Fans have been clamoring for another showdown, and it seems Cole is on the same page.

In a recent appearance on 3NT Wrestling, Cole didn’t hold back his excitement at the possibility of rekindling his rivalry with Ricochet, calling him one of his favorite opponents.

“I would love it too (another match against Ricochet),” Cole shared. “Ricochet is one of my favorite opponents. He’s a superhero. He’s just unbelievable; the things that he can do. So I’m so excited that he’s here in AEW, and I don’t see any reason why at some point down the line, we can’t do Adam Cole versus Ricochet two in AEW now. I hope so. Me too, me too.”

Ricochet has his eyes set on Konosuke Takeshita’s AEW International Championship, while Cole recently fell short in a bid to join the MJF vs. Roderick Strong match at Full Gear. Both stars are on intriguing paths, but a clash between them would undoubtedly electrify the AEW fanbase.

With Adam Cole’s endorsement and Ricochet’s gravity-defying skills, the stage seems set for these two megastars to collide once again.
