Mickie James was incredibly supportive of her husband, Nick Aldis, taking the SmackDown General Manager role. She has not made a return to the company yet, however, you can never say never in WWE. This made a recent cameo during one of the company’s premium live events very interesting.

WWE Bad Blood 2024 saw Mickie James appear in the crowd during the show as she sat between DDP and Scott Steiner. She didn’t do anything in the ring, but her presence was certainly noted by fans, and they also gave her attention from the commentary table.

While speaking on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Nick Aldis was asked about Mickie James’ Bad Blood cameo. He couldn’t reveal much, but WWE extended that invitation while saying they’d love to see her once again.

“At this particular moment … no comment. I can’t say too much, but [Mickie showing up at Bad Blood] was very much a ‘hey, we’d love to see you again, we’d love to do more.'”

Mickie James has done a lot in WWE, and many fans believe that she is a shoo-in for the WWE Hall of Fame. When Nick Aldis was asked how long it will be before his wife gets that honor, he replied to say that any time would be perfect.

“I don’t think there’s any question about her getting into the WWE Hall of Fame, but I don’t think there needs to be any rush, but at the same time any time it would happen would be the right time.”

Nick Aldis and Mickie James were married in December 2015 and have a son, Donovan Patrick Aldis, who was born in 2014. Aldis obviously understands everything that his wife has done for the pro wrestling industry, including WWE, so he won’t be shocked to see her get those Hall of Fame flowers whenever Triple H decides to put her name on the list.

Mickie James has earned titles and accolades throughout her career in professional wrestling. In WWE alone, she is a six-time champion, holding the WWE Women’s Championship five times and the WWE Divas Championship once. Obviously, she has done enough to warrant a Hall of Fame induction by anyone’s measuring stick.

Although Mickie James’ last WWE run ended in a controversial 2021 release that included her belongings being shipped back to her in a trash bag, she never went to AEW. Mark Carrano was fired over that trash bag care package incident, as many from the pro wrestling business cried out that she deserved better. Under Triple H’s power, the odds seem good for her to receive an eventual WWE Hall of Fame induction, so her name can be among other legends where it belongs.
