Big E fans, get ready for some exciting news! While updates on his in-ring return are still scarce, Kofi Kingston recently spoke with The New York Post and revealed that there’s hope for Big E to be involved in a special milestone event: The New Day’s 10-year anniversary celebration on Monday Night Raw.
Kingston made it clear that any celebration of The New Day would feel incomplete without Big E, who has been sidelined since March 2022 following a severe neck injury.
“I don’t think that we can have a New Day celebration without Big E there. It wouldn’t feel right. It wouldn’t taste right, you know?” Kingston shared. “So I’m hoping he’s available. But like I said, man, he’s busy doing a lot of things out there. I don’t know what his schedule is gonna look like, but hopefully he will be there. It would feel incomplete if he was not involved in The New Day 10-year anniversary in some way.”
Kingston’s heartfelt words highlight how much Big E’s presence still means to The New Day and their fans. “He had so much to do with the foundations of The New Day and what people think of when they think of The New Day,” Kingston said, adding that fans still mimic Big E’s signature moves, like the hip swivel, when they see them. “So, yeah, yeah, I would be willing to bet he’s going to be a part of it in some way, shape or form.”
Although the date for the 10-year anniversary episode of Raw hasn’t been announced, the anticipation is building. Fans can only hope that Big E’s schedule aligns, allowing him to make a memorable appearance and join his brothers, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, for this major celebration.
