Jey Uso has seen a huge surge in his career since breaking off from The Bloodline. He became “Main Event” Jey Uso and “Yeet” took off like a rocket, but the last program that drove him from his former faction is now a distant memory. Still, Jey may not be 100% okay with how everything went down.

At Survivor Series 2024, the O.G. Bloodline and a fifth man will face Bronson Reed and the new Bloodline in a WarGames match. The Usos also reunited for this storyline, but before that, they clashed at WrestleMania 40 in a singles match between twins that saw Jey come out as the winner.

While reflecting on that match, Jey spoke to Peter Rosenberg on Cheap Heat. He admits that he hasn’t considered which match he wants at WrestleMania 41, but he would honestly like to have another match against Jimmy Uso, because their last outing didn’t pan out the way he wanted. Jimmy wasn’t 100% and soon left on a hiatus, so this is a match he would love to run back.

“Nah man (I haven’t thought about what match I want to have at WrestleMania 41). To be honest though, I would like to run it back with my brother one more time. I would like to, because, left a lil bad taste in my mouth with that one.”

“For sure, for sure (it’s something I want to do). I just know what we can do. The fans have no damn clue. But I know. Me and my brother know, and hell yeah, we would’ve stole the show. Come on bruh, come on, uce. Things happen. We’re all a team…”

Jey Uso also shared his excitement about the possibility of having this match at RAW’s Netflix premiere. This is getting a considerable amount of attention right now as fans and Superstars alike are excited about the possibilities that Netflix brings.

“I would light that damn thing up (if the match happens at Raw’s Netflix premiere). It’d be sold-out, it’d be energy. Come on, come on. You talking about setting the tone? On some Netflix? Put me in the spot. Let’s do it. Let’s do it… I would like to run it back just one more time… Nah, nah (no stipulations). Straight up. Straight up. Storytelling, uce. Come on, that’s our thing.”

Jey Uso then spoke about reuniting with the O.G. Bloodline, particularly Sami Zayn, and how it brought back good memories. After all, they were a huge part of WWE programming on the road to WrestleMania 40, and now they can relive some of at chemistry on television.

“Oh, so happy man (to be reunited with Sami Zayn). This past Friday, it was just cool — all of us being in the room together. Even back just working together behind the scenes, doing the backstages. Just being in there with Roman (Reigns) and Sami and ping-ponging off each other. It just felt like old times. Sami’s one of my favorite guys to work with. Also, one of my favorite workers. The way he talks. If you pay attention to Sami Zayn, he got skills. Boy got skills. He’s an actor, he can work. He’s good, he’s safe in the ring. So, I’m very glad he’s on my team right now.”

Jey Uso is coming off a reign as WWE Intercontinental Champion and is focused on climbing higher in the company. He believes he has what it takes to become a World Champion once the Bloodline storyline concludes.

“Hell yeah, uce (I think I can get to a World Title after this current Bloodline storyline wraps). I’m ‘Main Event’ Jey Uso now. They know me now. Whether it’d be Bloodline, whatever. I’m that kind of performer now where I feel like I can stand on my own now. Put me in the ring with whoever. We’re gonna build each other up. We’re gonna cut these promos the way I cut ‘em, we gonna do work. We just gonna get it.”

Jey Uso’s confidence and momentum have him poised for greater success. With his focus on storytelling and hard work, he’s aiming for a career-defining run in WWE. Only time will tell if “Main Event” Jey Uso gets a major title run in WWE, but he is already a shoo-in Hall of Famer thanks to his previous accolades.

The O.G Bloodline is back together, and there could be no stopping them at this point. They just need to take care of Solo Sikoa’s crew, because the Tongans and Jacob Fatu are certainly a force to be reckoned with. It will be interesting to see if fans see another Jimmy vs Jey Uso match in the pipeline, but for now, they are fighting on the same side.
