WWE is preparing fans to get a Netflix subscription, because the red brand is heading to the streaming service. RAW will also go back to three hours when they debut on Netflix, and the setting will also be uncensored. CM Punk is at the forefront of that promotional blitz, which could be a lot for anyone.

CM Punk’s grand return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 brought him back into the WWE fold. After almost a decade away from WWE, the company was free to promote him once again, and they have taken full liberty to do so.

While speaking to Peter Rosenberg, CM Punk was asked about the fact that his face is gracing all the promotional materials for WWE RAW’s Netflix move. The Second City Savior is front and center in the ads, and he’s impossible to miss. Punk responded to say that the whole thing is a bit “daunting.”

“I stay ready, apparently. I’m front and center on a lot of the signage I’ve seen. It’s kinda daunting.”

When asked how it feels, CM Punk responded that, “it feels good to a point, but I’m the kinda guy who likes to live kinda private, incognito, but they’re just putting me on blast. I get it, I’m here, that’s why I’m here. I’m here to help Netflix, and Netflix is here to help us.”

This move to Netflix may be a great thing for WWE, and the deal to bring them there is worth a ton of money. The streaming giant’s WWE’s deal is valued at over $5 billion and will run for 10 years. Under the agreement, Netflix becomes the exclusive streaming home for RAW in the U.S., Canada, UK, and Latin America. Streaming of RAW on Netflix is set to begin in January 2025.

WWE RAW on Netflix will also come with a Travis Scott song for the show’s theme. Only time will tell what CM Punk does on Netflix, but they are certainly getting off to a great start.
