WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash, known for his long and successful wrestling career, has had his share of controversies and health struggles. He has now confirmed plans to undergo a third round of stem cell therapy to address ongoing health issues.
Kevin Nash is a very big man and despite his age, he always tries to keep himself in the best shape imaginable. Unfortunately, he is suffering from neck compression as his neck issues worsen. In addition to that, Nash is also dealing with an agonizing shoulder injury for which he requires surgery as well.
“I can’t even sit on a fu**ing toilet I’m in so much pain,” Nash revealed. “Stay tuned. I’ll definitely show up at an NXT taping if I’m not being operated on during that time because it looks like I’ve got to get my shoulder operated on. Something popped on my shoulder training on Tuesday… I was using a Cybex row machine. It stacks 200. I had 170 on it. I was on maybe rep eight or nine. I felt it and I heard something pop.”
While speaking on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash talked about his upcoming stem cell therapy and thanked BioXcellerator, the company that has helped him with past treatments. This will be his third session, and he sees it as a blessing. Nash has already used stem cell therapy for his neck and shoulders, and this time, the focus will be on his lower back. The treatment involves injecting stem cells and PRP into his neck to help with a pinched nerve. Nash is hopeful that he will feel like a “new person” by the time he returns home.
Nash also mentioned that he’s seen UFC fighters get similar treatments and feel better the next day. He called it life-changing and feels lucky to have access to such advanced care. At 65 years old, Nash knows that staying healthy means keeping his muscles strong, and he believes the therapy will help him stay active and in good shape.
“And I’ve already—thank God—run into BioXcellerator. I was just going to ask you about what stem cells can do in this specific situation. BioXcellerator is the company that’s basically put the Tin Man back together. This will be my third time going down there, and it’s beyond a blessing—beyond a blessing—to have this.
I’ve had it done for my neck and my shoulders. This time, they’ll be working on my lumbar. They’ll probably put me under for this, or at least in twilight anesthesia. They’ll go in with a PRP and stem cell mixture, and they’ll inject it into my cervical area to fill it. Just by relieving that pinched nerve, it’ll take the pressure off, and I guarantee you, by the time I fly home, I’ll be a different human being.
I’ve seen UFC fighters talk about this—how they went down there, woke up the next morning, and said it was like their injury never happened. It’s life-changing. I feel so blessed to have this as an option. If I was having this conversation tomorrow, I’d already be jumping to the end, asking, ‘How long after this procedure before I can lift weights?’ That’s the only thing I care about. At 65 years old, I know the key to staying healthy is the muscle I maintain on my body. It’s what allows me to keep moving. And if you can’t move, you die.
Thank God for stem cells. I believe this treatment is going to get me to where I need to be. Down the line, if wear and tear happen again, I might need further intervention, but these stem cells are going to give me relief.”
We will have to wait and see whether Kevin Nash undergoing a third round of stem cell therapy will ultimately help him make a full recovery and he can go back to feeling healthier than ever, as fans only want the best for him.
