John Cena was the face of WWE from 2006 to 2016 but he eventually branched out into the world of Hollywood. While Cena is set to retire from in-ring competition next year, it appears the viral sensation “Black John Cena” has now requested to take a photo with Cena before his retirement.

John Cena already announced that he will be part of WWE RAW’s transition to Netflix. He also revealed that his final wrestling appearances will be at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania in 2025. Rather than having one retirement match, Cena will go on a farewell tour in 2025, with several matches leading up to his in-ring retirement in December 2025.

Social media is known for making anything and everything a trending topic in an instant, and that’s exactly what happened to Brendan Cobbina. Back in 2021, he went viral as fans began calling him the “Black John Cena” due to his striking resemblance to the WWE superstar. Cobbina’s picture led to tons of memes and jokes on Twitter as “Black John Cena” continued to trend. Even R-Truth couldn’t help himself and decided to join in on the fun back then.

Brendan Cobbina took to Twitter and tagged John Cena, as he requested Cena to meet with him and finally take a photo together, before the Leader of Cenation retires, saying,” Alright @JohnCena let’s get this photo together before you retire from the ring”

We will have to wait and see whether the 16-time World Champion and the viral sensation will end up meeting before Cena retires and finally take a photo together, as that would most definitely break the internet in a big way.
