Joey Janela Destroys Ex WWE NXT Referee Drake Wuertz After Recent Stunt

Former WWE NXT referee Drake Wuertz, who is now known as Drake Younger, is at the center of controversy once again. He claimed to have confronted John Wayne Murdoch in the parking lot after GCW’s NGI9 event. Now, we have even more commentary on the situation.

Murdoch responded to the claims, providing a different version of events. He implied that Drake’s actions may have been influenced by substance use.

Joey Janela saw the recent press that Drake Younger is getting. He fired off a post on X to absolutely bury the former WWE referee.

Janela did not hold back at all, as he brought up Drake Younger’s alleged drug use, along with dragging him for throwing away a career in WWE, where he was able to be a referee with a hefty paycheck. Now, Younger is a deathmatch wrestler, and he’s apparently not doing well.

“I lost all respect for this guy, was one of my favorite wrestlers in my late teens. Has 5 young children, instead of being a father he smokes meth and embarrassedly tries to jump relevant wrestlers in a parking lot and fails at a company he’s begged to be booked on weekly for the last 2 years.”

“Could be set for life with a 6 figure job Reffing some of the biggest matches at Wrestlemania but decided to publicly spew fake conspiracy theories and anti women’s & LGBT rights propaganda on the internet and in that locker room.”

“Now he rolls around in glass for $250 paydays and works the desk at a crunch fitness. A real fucking loser, get help for your kids sake.”

Drake Younger caused a lot of controversy over his career, and it appears that he’s not done yet. Only time will tell what headlines he brings to his name from this point on, but we’re hoping that he is able to get back on the right path.

During this time in WWE, Drake Younger was suspended from the Performance Center due to a variety of issues. All the while, Drake stirred up a number of controversies due to his right-winged platform, including coming forward with anti-LGBTQ stances and Q-Anon adjacent theories.
