Former WWE NXT referee Drake Wuertz is now going as Drake Younger, but he’s still attached to controversy. That being said, he was recently called out in a big way after getting into a non-scripted fight.

Drake Younger claimed he confronted John Wayne Murdoch in the parking lot after the GCW’s NGI9 event. He said he confronted Murdoch over past comments and punched him. Drake added that he handled it privately and apologized to others at GCW for the incident. Murdoch denied the fight happened as described and called Drake’s actions unprovoked.

John Wayne Murdoch saw this story, and he replied to make things a bit more clear. The picture he painted seemed to call out the former WWE NXT referee for indulging in an illegal substance as well.

“Nah the headline is current meth head attacks JWM before his match at NGI and throws punches like he is a new born baby.”

Drake Younger generated a ton of controversy during his days as a WWE NXT referee. He was also suspended from the WWE Performance Center due to a variety of issues.
