Cody Rhodes Reacts to Rumors of CM Punk’s Dog Larry Outselling WWE Stars in Merchandise

Cody Rhodes dethroned Roman Reigns as the Undisputed Universal Champion and he continues to be the face of the company no matter what. He also has a lot of love for his dog Pharaoh and has now reacted to rumors of Punk’s dog Larry outselling WWE stars in merchandise.

On a recent episode of WrestleVotes Radio, it was reported that CM Punk’s dog, Larry, has been a major hit in merchandise sales. WWE was thrilled with the success of Larry’s initial merchandise, leading to plans for more Larry-themed items upon CM Punk’s return to television. According to the report, Larry’s merchandise even outsold several current WWE superstars and legends on WWE Shop during its release, showing the dog’s unexpected popularity.

“Some merchandising news. We are told WWE was absolutely thrilled with the initial run items of Larry, the dog. CM Punk’s dog so much so we are told to expect multiple new Larry items to be featured upon CM Punk return to TV. A source did say Larry the dog outdrew several current superstars as well as WWE legends on WWE Shop over the course of his merchandising release. He did have a T-shirt. He did have, I believe a stuffed dog is either in the works or on the way.”

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Cody Rhodes addressed the reports about CM Punk’s dog Larry outselling WWE stars in merchandise. He made it clear that he doesn’t believe it’s just a rumor. Cody pointed out that Pharaoh has more merchandise available, like shirts and plush toys.

While he acknowledged that Larry is doing well, he believes Larry hasn’t reached Pharaoh’s level yet but is on his way to doing so. Cody kept the conversation lighthearted, emphasizing that it’s all about the dogs.

“No, I don’t think that’s a rumor. Pharaoh has—this is going to sound so inside—he has more SKUs on the shelf. He’s got a couple of shirts, the plushes, more SKUs on the shelf for that. So, Larry is killing it. He should be! We love Larry in our house. CM Punk loves Pharaoh, but Pharaoh is… Larry is—Larry’s not there yet. I don’t doubt Larry’s going to get there.” we’re talking about dogs, all right? It’s just dogs. Larry’s on his way, all right? Larry’s on his way.”

We will have to wait and see whether CM Punk’s dog Larry will end up getting more merchandise than Cody Rhodes’ dog Pharaoh in the future, as it’s clear there is some healthy competition between the two beloved dogs.
