AEW President Tony Khan has a lot of love for professional wrestling, and especially for his company, but he isn’t aware of a lot of things when it comes to AEW lately. In fact, Khan was recently clowned for telling fans to watch the latest episode of Rampage despite the fact that Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul was happening at the same time.

Mike Tyson was preparing for a major fight as he was scheduled to face Jake Paul in a boxing match on November 15th. The legendary boxer stepped into the ring against Paul at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The event drew thousands of spectators, with fans from all over eagerly watching the highly anticipated matchup.

Tony Khan took to Twitter and thanked fans for watching the November 15th AEW Rampage, sharing that if viewers missed the earlier broadcast, they could catch it on TNT West. He also hyped the main event, calling it “nuts,” featuring Dante Martin facing Ricochet. He encouraged fans to tune in for the replay on TNT West later that night.

“Thank you all who watched Friday Night #AEWRampage tonight! If you missed it earlier, it’s on @TNTdrama West right NOW! You won’t want to miss the great main event tonight, it was nuts! Dante Martin vs Ricochet @lucha_angel1 vs @KingRicochet Coming up SOON tonight on TNT West!”

Unsurprisingly, a lot of fans weren’t happy about what Tony Khan said and clowned him for the same. One fan even said no one was even watching Rampage, “Nobody is watching this useless show, don’t you get it already.” Another fan pointed out how everyone was watching Netflix for Tyson and Paul, “Everyone was watching Netflix.

Yet another fan told Tony Khan no one knew Rampage was on, “Dude no one knew you had anything on TV tonight.” It didn’t stop there as another fan pointed out that with boxing and SmackDown, no one was watching Rampage, “With the boxing & Smackdown, I doubt anyone was watching”

For the record, Jake Paul would ultimately emerge victorious in the boxing match as it went into split decision. Regardless, many fans feel Tony Khan should have more self-awareness about his own product as Rampage is clearly not something people watch now.
