Cody Rhodes took the spotlight by dethroning Roman Reigns as the Undisputed WWE Champion and has been booked strongly as the champion since then. He is the face of the company and has confirmed WWE has lifted the ban on a crucial wrestling term in WWE.

It was already confirmed that Cody Rhodes would be the special guest picker on ESPN College GameDay this Saturday, November 16th, as the Georgia Bulldogs prepare to take on the Tennessee Volunteers.

While speaking on the panel for ESPN College GameDay, it was pointed out that Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship is referred to as a title and not a belt. However, Cody Rhodes confirmed that WWE now allows titles to be referred to as belts again, lifting the ban, as he said,“We can say belt now.”

WWE lifting the ban on the word “Belt” truly shows just how much the company has changed. As for Cody Rhodes, he is currently feuding with Kevin Owens and it’s expected to continue well into next month and fans are looking forward to how their feud will be booked till then.
