RVD definitely knows how to make an impact whenever he appears on WWE television but some fans weren’t really happy with his appearance on NXT last week. In fact, RVD is now claiming that plans for his appearance on the show were changed.

The November 6 episode of NXT took place at the legendary 2300 Arena, a venue famously associated with ECW, and it was a nostalgic moment for fans who remember the promotion’s golden days. The show featured several ECW legends, including Rob Van Dam.

During the episode, RVD had a brief interaction with Kelani Jordan before being attacked by Wes Lee. RVD would later team up with Je’Von Evans to help defeat Wes Lee in a match, making it clear that RVD’s involvement in the ongoing storylines wasn’t finished just yet.

While speaking on the 1 Of A Kind podcast, Rob Van Dam talked about his time at NXT 2300. A fan mentioned they were disappointed that RVD didn’t get to wrestle, as they were hoping to see him in action. RVD claimed that the plans might have changed, and while he was also disappointed, it was likely done to protect his health. He added that it was too early to share more details, but he promised to talk more about it later. RVD also assured fans that he would be back in the ring soon.

“More time is needed to get more information. But basically, I think that you would not be wrong if you thought that maybe there was some plans that got changed, and if so, that it was done for the betterment of me and for my well-being. Let me just leave it there for now. I will definitely talk more about this when I have more to talk about. Little early right now though. I wanted to wrestle too. I was really bummed. I will be back, too. I will be back, so there’s that.”

RVD and Kelani Jordan would have a wholesome moment during the show as well, but we will have to wait and see when The Whole F’n Show will make his return to NXT television, as fans really want to see him back.
