WWE fans, get ready for a great start to this week’s SmackDown! In a surprise move, WWE announced on social media via Nick Aldis that the November 15, 2024, episode will kick off with none other than “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

“Open tonight’s SmackDown tonight, we are kicking off with the American Nightmare, the WWE Champion Cody Rhodes,” Aldis said in the video shared on social media.

This revelation adds a whole new level of anticipation for tonight’s broadcast, as Rhodes’ appearances are always filled with drama, intensity, and the potential for huge storyline shifts. Whether he’ll be addressing the upcoming Survivor Series: War Games Premium Live Event, settling scores, or challenging new rivals, fans are in for a must-see segment to kick off the show.

In addition to announcing Rhodes as the opener, Aldis confirmed that the main event will be none other than the WWE Women’s Championship match between Nia Jax and Naomi. This match has been building since last week’s intense non-title tag bout where Naomi interfered, helping Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeat Jax and Tiffany Stratton. Fans are eagerly waiting to see if Naomi can capture singles gold once again.
