Kevin Owens has had enough of the finger-pointing. In his latest self-recorded video from the comfort of his car, “The Prize Fighter” broke his silence about the escalating tensions involving himself, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes.
Owens posted the video in response to Cody Rhodes’ opening promo on the November 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, which took place at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He revealed that he actually showed up to the arena, only to be turned away due to his actions the previous week involving Orton.
Owens defended himself, stating, “I showed up to Crown Jewel and did my job.” He made it clear that everything he did was according to plan, with Triple H even warning Orton about what was coming. Owens reiterated, “All I did is do what they asked me to do.” For him, being penalized for simply following orders is unjust.
In the video, Owens mentioned that SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has called for his appearance at next week’s WWE SmackDown in Salt Lake City, Utah, a show that Cody Rhodes specifically wants him to attend. Owens confirmed he will be there, not just for Cody, but for himself, adding, “I happen to love Utah.” He ended with a message to the WWE Universe, “Everyone needs to remember one thing, I’m just doing what you all want me to do. I’m just doing my job.”
With Owens set to appear next Friday, fans can expect more fireworks and revelations as this story continues to unfold.
