The “Being The Elite” YouTube series began with The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and Cody Rhodes, before eventually branching off to several other professional wrestlers who were also members of The Bullet Club. The show has been gone for quite a while and now Kenny Omega has revealed the conditions for its potential return.

After last year’s Full Gear pay-per-view, The Young Bucks announced they were done making videos for Being The Elite. That decision turned out to be true, but fans have been left wondering if the show will ever make a comeback.

While speaking to Fightful, Kenny Omega explained that bringing Being The Elite back would require significant changes due to the demands that had grown over time. As the show expanded in cast size and episode quality, it became too much for one person to manage alone. If the series were to return, he believes it would need a full crew, including a dedicated cameraman, editors, and someone to handle post-production effects, as the production needs have evolved.

The increased time and quality requirements eventually outpaced the time they could commit to the series. Toward the end, BTE had developed into its own unique project, often feeling more like a Dark Order show or a platform for wrestlers without TV spots. Omega appreciated this evolution, as it offered those individuals an opportunity to connect with fans. However, he fully understands why BTE had to end. While he doesn’t rule out a return someday, he acknowledges that, for now, bringing it back isn’t feasible.

“For BTE, it was a gigantic commitment for everyone involved. I really do think that as BTE grew and our cast expanded, along with the quality of the episodes, it became too much work for just one person to shoulder. I feel like if it were ever to come back, it would probably need an actual crew. We’d need a dedicated cameraman, people to edit the footage, and, at this point, someone to handle post-production effects and things like that because things evolve and change.

The time and quality demands just didn’t match the time we had to give to the series anymore. By the end, BTE kind of became its own thing. There were moments when it felt more like a Dark Order show, and there were times when it featured wrestlers who didn’t have spots on TV, giving them something to do for the week. I was more than thrilled for it to be a platform for those individuals.

That said, I totally respect the reason why it had to end. I don’t know—maybe one day it could come back, but for now, it’s just not feasible.”

Interestingly enough, The Young Bucks claimed that they would never bring back “Being The Elite.” Regardless, only time will tell whether “Being The Elite” will ever return as fans would love to see the show come back after so long.
