Jackie Redmond has been a backstage interviewer and correspondent for WWE Monday Night RAW since October 2021. Her experience in the NHL has played a significant role in her success, bringing valuable skills that have helped her thrive in the world of professional wrestling.

Jackie Redmond previously confirmed she would be absent from the November 11th edition of Monday Night RAW held at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but fans wanted to know the reason for her absence.

While speaking on Gabby AF, Jackie Redmond explained why she wasn’t on the November 11th RAW episode. She shared that she has learned to prioritize her mental health throughout her career and can now recognize when burnout is approaching. As a result, she plans her time off strategically. Redmond knew that after returning from Saudi Arabia and doing a hockey game right after, she would be exhausted, so she decided to take the week off. She is now feeling refreshed and in a good place, which was her goal.

“I actually have this week off. I have learned over the course of my career to take care of my mental health and know when burnout is coming. I can tell now, so I strategically plan when I’m going to take a day here or there. I wasn’t on Raw this week for that reason. I knew coming off of Saudi Arabia, I would be fried, and I did a hockey game right afterwards. So, I’m glad I took the time. I’m really good right now.”

Taking a break for one’s mental health is key to longevity in the world of professional wrestling, so fans are glad to see Jackie Redmond prioritizing herself like this. Regardless, we’ll be back on RAW for next week’s show and that’s all that matters in the end.
