The Colón family has made its triumphant return to the global spotlight by joining the NWA. Primo and Epico Colón will mark their debut on this week’s episode of NWA Powerrr, bringing their unmatched pedigree and championship legacy to the iconic promotion.

Backstage, the duo made their intentions crystal clear in an interview with May Valentine. “Business is about to pick up in the NWA,” Primo Colón declared, with Epico by his side. “You have one of the greatest tag teams in Puerto Rico — and now the greatest tag team in the NWA!”

Joe Galli, Chief Operations Officer for the NWA, emphasized the significance of the Colóns’ arrival, stating, “The Colón family has challenged for National Wrestling Alliance championships for decades. Now a new generation of Colóns looks to make their mark in NWA history — and it starts next week on NWA Powerrr.”

The Colóns are no strangers to the big stage. As the son and nephew of wrestling legend Carlos Colón — a Hall-of-Famer and frequent contender for the coveted “Ten Pounds of Gold” — Primo and Epico have earned their stripes. They have claimed numerous tag team titles worldwide, including a memorable reign as WWE World Tag Team Champions. Individually, Primo boasts an impressive 16 singles championship wins in Puerto Rico’s World Wrestling Council (WWC), with five Universal title reigns, while Epico has held the prestigious championship once.

NWA’s National Promoter Bryan Idol highlighted the importance of their inclusion, saying, “It’s hard to understand the kind of massive stars The Colóns are in Puerto Rico unless you witness it first-hand. We’re bringing two of their biggest attractions to NWA fans!” Idol, who has firsthand experience competing on the island, added, “It’s great to see the people of Puerto Rico represented in this way.”

The Colóns’ debut match in the National Wrestling Alliance will air on the November 19 episode of NWA Powerrr, with fans ready to witness the hard-hitting action live at 6:05 p.m. EST on the NWA X (formerly Twitter) account. The excitement continues as the NWA heads to Dothan, AL, on December 14 for the highly anticipated event Looks That Kill, featuring the top stars of the promotion.
