The SummerSlam Premium Live Event was a solid show from start to finish and during SummerSlam week, WWE also held tryouts. Among the participants was Evander Holyfield’s son Elijah and it appears he has now been confirmed to be part of NXT’s latest class of recruits.

Elijah Holyfield, the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield, was a notable participant at the SummerSlam tryouts. With a background in American football, Elijah has played in the NFL and at the University of Georgia, showcasing his athleticism in different sports before potentially making his mark in professional wrestling.

It wasn’t known whether Holyfield was able to pass the tryouts and fans wondered what happened to him. As it turns out, WWE NXT’s official Twitter account took to the social media platform and uploaded a photo of the latest batch of recruits. Among them was Elijah Holyfield, making it clear that the legendary boxer’s son is now on track to become a WWE Superstar. The post simply read, “The future is looking bright!” and many fans agreed with that statement.

Lance Anoa’i was also spotted among the recruits but that was expected as it was already reported he signed with WWE. Therefore, it remains to be seen how Elijah Holyfield will fare as a WWE Superstar, as the sky is truly the limit for him.
