Juggalo Championship Wrestling has been around since 1999, and they’ve made waves in the past. The company founded by ICP is now enjoying a new bust of attention thanks to CoKane, but not everyone is happy about that.

Co-Kane isn’t happy about the debut of CoKane in JCW. The Grims Toy Show standout, who has gone viral recently, addressed the issue in a new interview with VICE. Alongside Grim, Co-Kane expressed frustration over what they see as a blatant rip-off of the character.

“He’s the original Co-Kane,” Grim said. “Because unfortunately, right now, we’re getting our swagger jacked. We’re getting ripped off. We’re getting copied.”

“What the f*ck see,” Co-Kane added.

Grim elaborated to say that his company had the original Co-Kane gimmick. So, they aren’t happy with the juggalos right now.

“The original Co-Kane—who is sitting in front of you right now—is really pissed off about it. As a matter of fact, so am I, because I came up with this character ten years ago. We went viral with it a few weeks ago, and then another federation [JCW] brings out this guy and does the exact same character, with the exact same joke.”

Grim expressed his frustration over the situation, saying, “It really pissed us off… and also yeah, what the f*ck, see.” He went on to describe Co-Kane’s reaction, adding, “Co-Kane is pretty mad. And you know what happens, you get real aggressive when you’re on cocaine, you get real shitty with people.”

Grim noted that JCW’s CoKane character debuted recently, saying, “They came out this past weekend.” Comparing timelines, he continued, “We did it, like, two weeks before Halloween, right? And he’s like, ‘We’ve been working on this for months.’ I said, ‘Well, I’ve been doing it for ten years.’”

When asked about a possible match between Co-Kane and CoKane, both were open to the idea. “I’m all for it,” Co-Kane said. Grim saw potential for something bigger.

“As a wrestling promoter, I don’t look at these as opposition or problems. I look at it as opportunities,” Grim explained. “Let’s have Co-Kane versus CoKane. Or Co-Kane versus… Crack Kane. The guy also made a yellow Kane and called it ‘Piss Kane.’ You could have Co-Kane versus Piss Kane. I’m just saying, let’s make it a feud. Let’s make it a match. Let’s make some money together, rather than argue on Twitter.”

Grim suggested a massive battle royale for all the “non-Kane Kanes.” As for his pick to win he stated, “I would personally pull for Blue Kane to win the whole thing.” After all, Blue Kane is the OG parody Kane persona, as he went viral a long time ago and continues to ride that infamy. Then again, there is also Gayne, and he’s garnered a lot of attention in recent memory.

We will have to see what’s next when it comes to ripping off Kane. His character certainly gives a lot of leeway to take things in an entertaining direction, and we’re all here for it.
