WWE SmackDown’s November 15 episode lit up the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fans packed the venue and were sure to be there at the beginning of the show, because they had quite an opening segment.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is also the Crown Jewel Champion. He may have traded that title for a ring in Saudi Arabia, but he brought all that clout with him to SmackDown this week to kick off the show.

Cody Rhodes got in the ring to start off the show, and he asked for the microphone immediately. He wasn’t happy about how things panned out on SmackDown last week. He had to leave in an ambulance with Randy Orton last week when Kevin Owens nailed him with a piledriver, and that is what he wanted to talk about.

The American Nightmare called out Kevin Owens multiple times, but Nick Aldis came out instead. Aldis admitted that everyone is angry that Randy Orton is out of action thanks to Owens’ attack last week. Then Aldis said that they can’t have Owens around if he is going to act like he did last week.

Cody Rhodes then said that Kevin Owens is not going to get the right message by being sent home. He said that Owens drives a Lamborghini, so he’s not going to feel it in his pocketbook to miss a few weeks. Then, Aldis said that Owens can’t be there until “this situation is resolved internally.”

Then Cody Rhodes asked Nick Aldis to be real with him. After all, Rhodes had to do a lot of things last week, including talk to Randy Orton’s family when he had to give them an injury update. Rhodes said if he can’t handle things in a WWE ring, then he could fly to Kevin Owens’ house and “beat his ass” in his front yard.

The segment ended with Cody Rhodes saying that he won’t wait for very long to get his hands on Kevin Owens. We will have to see what happens next, but the ball seems to be in Nick Aldis’ court.
