Becky Lynch fans, it’s time to get excited — the latest signs point to “The Man” making her highly anticipated WWE return sooner rather than later. While Lynch’s WWE contract officially expired on June 1, sparking widespread speculation about her future, recent developments suggest she could be back in the ring much sooner than expected.
Mike Johnson from PWInsider.com recently revealed an intriguing update tied to Lynch’s upcoming appearance at NYA East for the 2024 Vulture Festival. According to promotional materials, the WWE superstar and New York Times best-selling author, Rebecca Quin, will join the event for an in-depth discussion about her memoir, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl. The promotional blurb teases a potential look at what’s next for Lynch, stating:
“We’ll look back on her legendary career — from her early days grinding on the road to being in the first-ever women’s match to main event WrestleMania — and just maybe get a glimpse at what The Man has in store for us next.”
The inclusion of this teaser has sent fans into a frenzy, but that’s not all. Johnson noted that sources within WWE and Netflix have indicated that Lynch is expected to be back in the fold with the company in time for the upcoming premiere of Raw on Netflix in early 2025. This timing suggests that a new agreement between Lynch and WWE is either close to being finalized or already in place.
Adding fuel to the comeback rumors, WrestleVotes Radio’s Joey Votes shared that WWE has been in discussions with major athletic apparel retailers, with Lynch’s name popping up in talks alongside other big names like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Bianca Belair. “Whether she signed or not, it seems that WWE still holds the rights to Becky Lynch, which is a good sign for her returning at some point,” Votes said.
Co-host TC supported this theory, speculating that Lynch’s return could happen sooner than fans think. “I really feel that Becky Lynch is in the fold, and she is on her way back. I think sooner rather than later, definitely before WrestleMania. I would say maybe at the Royal Rumble, maybe even before then,” he added. He emphasized that Lynch’s star power remains unmatched, making her an invaluable asset as WWE gears up for marquee events like Royal Rumble and WrestleMania.
With WWE’s ambitious plans involving new merchandise deals and Lynch’s possible return aligning with the launch of Raw on Netflix, it seems the stage is set for “The Man” to make a dramatic comeback.
