AEW taped the November 16, 2024, episode of Collision tonight at the MVP Arena in Albany, NY. Fans experienced exciting matches and surprising moments as the wrestlers geared up for Full Gear. The episode will air this Saturday at 8 PM ET. Here’s a look at the highlights.

Mina Shirakawa defeated Harley Cameron with the Glamorous Driver in a match full of charisma and crowd engagement. Mina was a clear fan favorite in Albany.

Daniel Garcia forced Johnny TV (accompanied by MxM Collection) to tap out with the Cobra Clutch. The match was solid, and midway through, Jack Perry attacked Daddy Magic at commentary, dragging him backstage.

Shelton Benjamin (with MVP) secured a win over Komander (accompanied by The Hype Man) with a powerful powerslam. The crowd reacted strongly to Shelton’s entrance, chanting “MVP!” throughout. Komander put up more of a fight than expected, making the match even more compelling. After the bout, MVP instructed Benjamin to unmask Komander, but Alex Abrahantes intervened and was laid out by MVP. The mask stayed intact.

Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Bear Bronson (with Beefcake Boulder and Jacked Jamison) using the Argentine Backbreaker (torture rack).

The Acclaimed triumphed over Rush and Beast Mortos, with Anthony Bowens pinning Mortos after the Mic Drop. With this win, The Acclaimed secured the final spot in the 4-way Tag Team title match at Full Gear. Before the match, Max Caster took a shot at Kamala Harris’ election loss.

Lexy Nair interviewed FTR, who hinted at a new chapter and teased the possibility of facing The Outrunners for the AEW World Tag Team titles. Dax Harwood emphasized it’s time for a fresh start.

Mariah May retained her AEW Women’s World Championship by defeating Anna Jay in a no disqualification match, using Storm Zero onto a folding chair. The bout featured hardcore elements, including chairs, a ladder, a trashcan, a table, and barbed wire. A highlight was Anna’s superplex of Mariah onto a metal guard rail. Post-match, Mina Shirakawa joined Mariah in the ring for a celebration, hinting at their upcoming Champagne Celebration at Full Gear.

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley delivered a fierce video promo aimed at Orange Cassidy, boasting about injuring Chuck Taylor and calling Cassidy a “cold-blooded snake.” Moxley stated that Cassidy’s real test would be his match against Wheeler Yuta on Dynamite. Moxley expressed feeling the weight of every wrestler and fan disappointed in AEW’s current state and vowed to solidify his legacy at Full Gear, declaring that if anyone couldn’t handle his brand of wrestling, they should leave.
