The former WWE Champion passed away on November 13, 2005, in his hotel room in Minneapolis, Minnesota, due to a heart attack. Despite being gone for a long time, fans have witnessed multiple superstars adopting Eddie Guerrero’s in-ring moves, styles, and tactics to keep his memory, legacy, and remarkable career alive to this day.

On the 19th anniversary of his passing, one of Eddie’s biggest on-screen rivals and best friends, Rey Mysterio, paid a beautiful tribute. The WWE Hall of Famer took to his Instagram to drop a photo of Guerrero and penned down a heartfelt message for his late friend while remembering him.

“RIP ✝️ Eddie19 yrs & will forever live in our ❤️ 🔥We miss you a lot WeeWeeto.”
