Liv Morgan’s impressive run of Royal Rumble match appearances will come to a close at WWE’s upcoming Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, scheduled for February 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The reigning WWE Women’s World Champion has participated in every Royal Rumble since 2018, marking six consecutive showings. But this year, her status as the top champion on the Raw brand means she’ll sit out of the iconic match for the first time.
Morgan herself confirmed the news during her appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. “I’m not going to enter the Royal Rumble this year because I’m going to walk in as the Women’s World Champion,” she said, acknowledging the end of her streak. “I’ve been in every single one, too. So, I’m actually going to miss this one.”
Although Morgan won’t be in the Royal Rumble match, which determines a contender for WrestleMania 41, she still might have a significant role on the event card. Reflecting on her journey and what it means for her future at WrestleMania, Morgan offered a playful take.
“If they choose me. I don’t think they would [choose me] because it’s not very smart to choose me. Have you been watching, Pat? Raquel, Judgment Day, Daddy Dom… I don’t know who’s going to want to take their chance against me.”
Morgan’s remarks emphasize her confidence and the formidable reputation she has built as champion. Fans and wrestlers alike will be watching closely to see who emerges as her next challenger on the road to WrestleMania 41.
