AEW World Champion Jon Moxley has been in rare form in recent memory. His quest to disrupt and do his own violent thing has been apparent. During the November 13 AEW Dynamite, he continued with that agenda.

Jon Moxley’s creative involvement in the Death Riders storyline captured attention in recent memory, as they have been on a tear recently. Moxley will defend his AEW World Title against Orange Cassidy at Full Gear on November 23, but chaos soon erupted after that match was made official.

Although Jon Moxley isn’t 100%, as he’s undergoing treatment to repair a busted up hip, he made a promise to destroy the greater good in AEW, and that’s exactly what he’s doing. He will be with AEW for years to come, so Tony Khan is obviously making the most of him.

This week’s AEW Dynamite’s Death Riders segment kicked off with Wheeler Yuta and Claudio beating JD Drake with a chair at the entrance. Then Jon Moxley took to the ring as he made his way out through the crowd.

Moxley said he’s been thinking about Orange Cassidy a lot nowadays. He dragged OC for not protecting Chuck Taylor or Wheeler Yuta when he could, and Mox brought up all the pressure on Freshly Squeezed. Moxley doesn’t like how Orange Cassidy is “cool as a cucumber,” so he made it his quest to make an example out of him.

Jon Moxley said he will mutilate Orange Cassidy to the point where his own mother won’t know who he is. Moxley then said that the Death Riders will continue to do whatever they want in AEW, because they have the power. Then Cassidy made his way out, followed by Mark Briscoe and Rocky Romero.

Orange Cassidy was very calm as he said he believes that Moxley will do everything he is threatening to do. Cassidy said that he’s very good at wrestling for a guy who doesn’t like to wrestle, and he will beat Moxley again, but this time will be for the AEW World Title. Then OC set up a match against Wheeler Yuta for next week’s Dynamite, as he called him a pawn protecting the king.

Moxley then told Orange Cassidy that he will make him “abandon all hope” at Full Gear on November 23. We will have to see how that marquee match pans out.
