Grayson Waller is a WWE Superstar so he obviously has a lot of eyes on him no matter what and a solid fan base. Even then, that doesn’t mean he will entertain fans who want to take photos at airports.
Meeting wrestlers at airports has become an issue for many stars. While casual encounters with fans can be fine, a group of people now go to airports with merchandise, solely to get autographs and sell them on eBay. This has upset wrestlers, who feel exploited by individuals more focused on making money than showing genuine support for their careers.
Last year, a video showed Rey Mysterio without his mask, refusing to sign an autograph because the fan was clearly trying to profit from it. Rhea Ripley also faced similar issues, being swarmed by fans at an airport and expressing her frustration.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Grayson Waller was asked if he would ever take photos with fans at airports. Grayson Waller explained that he will never take photos with fans at airports. He stated that he has no interest in taking pictures with fans, especially when they approach him with multiple items like action figures for him to sign.
Waller said he would simply walk away and ignore them, often putting on his headphones to avoid any interaction. Waller also expressed frustration with fans who show up early in the morning with their kids, questioning why they aren’t letting their children sleep in. He contrasted his approach to that of Austin Theory, who he noted is more willing to engage with fans in such situations.
“No way. Not at the airport, especially. No way you’re getting a photo with me. Theory will do it; Theory’s nice enough to do it, but there’s no way I would ever do it. Especially when they come with a bundle, like they’re carrying how many action figures they have? Kiss my ass. They want an autograph? You just walk away. I have my headphones on, I couldn’t care less. Wow, like what are you doing? It’s 5:00 a.m., why are you here with your kids? Let them sleep in. These guys are sad.”
Even Drew McIntyre gets annoyed by fans forcing autographs at airports. Regardless, Grayson Waller has made it abundantly clear he simply has no respect for fans who do not value his private space and it’s not hard to see why.
