WWE NXT’s women’s division is growing fast with new talent. Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Zaria are shaking things up. Jordynne Grace might also join the roster soon. Competition is heating up in the division in a big way at this point as well.

Madusa, who was known as Alundra Blayze during her WWE tenure, shared her thoughts on the NXT women’s division. She certainly saw a lot as the division evolved with new talent.

On her podcast Paving The Way, Madusa said Giulia and Vaquer could outshine Roxanne Perez. This may be bad news for the current NXT Women’s Champion.

“Stephanie is, I mean, she’s different, definitely. I think with those two together, are going to be a great tag team. They can do it individually,” Madusa said. “So I don’t know what the reasoning is to bring them together. I mean, it’d be great for them to duel each other. There’s just so many different ways you can go with it, both talent, I mean it, they’re going to outshine — I think both of those two could outshine Perez right now. Perez is hot because she’s been carrying it and they’ve put a lot of time and money [in her]. I just think that Guilia and Stephanie outshine Perez now.”

Madusa also had a lot of good things to say aboutSol Ruca, as she suggested that Sol develop her character to reach the level of Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer. There are, naturally, a number of NXT Superstars on the women’s roster who deserve attention.

“I think that Sol Ruca is a great gymnast wrestler, some great moves, but I’d like to see more of a build with her as far as the character, now, her character, I get who she is and what she is and what she’s about, but I’d like to see more of the wrestling, the psychology and the not just so many moves, but more of the selling and the getting into it type of thing. I could see her getting into the Julia and Stephanie format, if they start boosting her.”

Back in the NXT 2.0 era, Madusa appeared when Cora Jade tossed the NXT Women’s Tag Team title in the trash, which was a throwback to Madusa’s 1995 act on WCW Nitro. Now, Jade and Roxanne Perez are together again, so that angle has come full circle.

Roxanne Perez recently said she believes Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, Cora Jade, and herself are the new NXT Four Horsewomen. Only time will tell where this competition leads, but the NXT women’s division is becoming an exciting place.

WWE has long championed women’s wrestling, starting with the “Give Divas a Chance” movement. This led to the Women’s Revolution and the Evolution pay-per-view event. With this level of talent, WWE has a strong future ahead.
