WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin remains a legendary figure in professional wrestling after ushering in The Attitude Era. Interestingly enough, he expanded his skills beyond the wrestling ring by participating in a shooting range course to improve his long-range shooting abilities.
Since retiring from wrestling, Steve Austin has stayed busy on his ranch and has continued to appear in various films and shows. The Texas Rattlesnake also enjoys hunting and wants to make sure his aim is always on point.
Steve Austin took to his Instagram and talked about his experience on day one of a long-range shooting course with Jim the Kraken. This is the fourth time he’s taken Jim’s class, and he mentioned that he learns something new each time.
Austin pointed out how different hunting in Northern Nevada is compared to South Texas, and how Jim has greatly improved his long-range skills. He’s excited for day 2, where they’ll shoot up to 1,000 yards and then set up a one-mile target. Austin also noted that the .338 Lapua rifle he’s using is loaned from his friend.
“Day one of two w @jimthekraken1 long range shooting course. This is the fourth time I have taken Jim’s class and I learn something new every time. Northern Nevada hunting is much different than South Texas, and Jim has brought my long range game up to speed immensely. Looking forward to day 2 where we will shoot out to 1,000 yards, and then set up on the one mile target. Always learn more. .338 Lapua is on loan from my friend @nevadacerakote”
Steve Austin also addressed the possibility of returning to the ring at WrestleMania 41, stating that he’s open to the idea if there’s a meaningful reason behind it. While it’s uncertain if he will make an appearance at next year’s event, he plans to stay busy with other activities in the meantime.
