Rhea Ripley Reveals Why She Will Not Have Children Anytime Soon

Rhea Ripley is no stranger to the spotlight, often grabbing attention both in the ring and on social media. Alongside her husband, Buddy Matthews, the power couple is seen as fitness goals by many fans. However, it appears Rhea Ripley has no interest in having children right now and she has revealed the reason for this.

Buddy Matthews and Rhea Ripley have been in a real-life relationship for a long time. Even though they work for different wrestling promotions, the couple has always supported and shown love for each other on social media. Earlier this year, they got married, and fans love seeing their interactions online. Naturally, some fans even wonder when they will have kids of their own.

While speaking to Jazzy World TV, Rhea Ripley revealed that she doesn’t plan on having kids for the next five to ten years. She explained that she doesn’t want to take her children on the road with her, saying she wouldn’t handle it well, unlike Becky Lynch. Ripley said that WWE’s demanding schedule makes it hard for her to think about having kids right now.

The Eradicator also mentioned how Becky Lynch had a baby, came back to WWE, and manages to be both a great wrestler and a great mom. Ripley admires how Lynch brings her daughter Roux on the road and balances everything so well.

“If you think about it this way as well, a lot of us get motherhood taken away for a long time. Like, I’m still young, yes, but I work for WWE; it’s very demanding. I probably can’t have kids for the next five to 10 years because I don’t want to have to bring them on the road and put them through that.

I’m not good at that. But then you look at someone like Becky Lynch, who did go and have a kid and did come back and is still the badass, The Man; she is herself, and she’s a great mother while she does that. She brings Roux on the road every now and then, and she’s absolutely killing it.”

As for Rhea Ripley right now, she is out of action due to a legitimate injury but PWInsider has reported that Rhea Ripley’s injury isn’t as severe as first believed and WWE is hoping she can make it in time for WrestleMania 41. Nonetheless, Ripley is far too busy to have children right now and fans respect her decision.
