MJF Brutally Taunts Bully Ray After Controversial Promo Skill Claim

MJF has been touted as one of the defining heels of the current generation of pro wrestlers, and it is not difficult to understand why. Even then, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray made a very bold claim about his mic skills recently and this led to an appropriate reply from MJF.

While speaking during a recently Signed By Superstars session, Bully Ray made it clear that he believes he’s the best in wrestling when it comes to speaking without a script. He stated that he was sure that he would be unbeatable in a live, unscripted promo. He even said that MJF, known for being great on the mic, wouldn’t be able to keep up with him. In Ray’s view, nobody can out-talk him in a no-script battle.

“Guys, let me explain something to you: There’s not one person in this industry who can hang with me on the microphone when no scripts are involved and those mics are hot. Nobody… He’d [MJF] get killed,” Ray said, confidently doubling down on his claim that he’s untouchable in a no-script showdown.

The Salt of the Earth clearly took notice of what Bully Ray had to say, as he took to Twitter and gave a very appropriate answer to Bully Ray’s bold claim, as he uploaded photo of himself alongside a Peter Griffin cosplayer at the Big NY event, as he made fun of Bully Ray’s weight and even claimed that he patiently waited for his return to meet him.

“Was so cool meeting up with my old pal Bully today at my autograph signing. He waited so patiently for his turn.”

MJF is more than proud of his skills on the mic so this kind of reply was very expected of him. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Bully Ray will end up responding to the former AEW World Champion as well, since fans feel this could lead to a program in the future.
