WWE Hall of Famer and ECW legend Bubba Ray Dudley is the latest wrestling icon to to confirm a Legends deal with WWE.
The announcement follows his recent appearance on the November 6th episode of WWE NXT, which was held at the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia—an arena synonymous with ECW’s legacy. NXT paid tribute to the venue’s storied past, featuring appearances from several ECW veterans, including Bubba Ray Dudley, who teamed up with Trick Williams to face off against Ethan Page and Ridge Holland.
During a virtual signing with Signed By Superstars, Dudley confirmed his Legends deal status, solidifying his ongoing connection to WWE. These deals offer retired stars post-career income, merchandise royalties, TV and video game appearances, and opportunities for special cameo roles and short-term storylines on WWE programming.
Dudley now joins a distinguished list of wrestling icons who have secured Legends contracts in recent months, including Rob Van Dam, Hornswoggle, and Mick Foley. These agreements not only honor the contributions of wrestling veterans but also keep them involved with WWE, allowing fans to see their favorite legends make surprise appearances and contribute to the current wrestling landscape.
