Bully Ray is not holding back when it comes to talking up his legendary microphone skills. Fresh off his WWE in-ring return at NXT’s 2300 Arena show, the wrestling icon sat down for a virtual signing with Signed By Superstars and made a bold statement that has the wrestling world buzzing.
When the topic of a hypothetical back-and-forth with United States Champion L.A. Knight came up, Bully Ray made it crystal clear: there’s nobody in the game who can keep up with him in an unscripted promo battle. And he didn’t stop there—he even threw shade at AEW’s MJF, known for being one of the best talkers in the industry.
“Guys, let me explain something to you: There’s not one person in this industry who can hang with me on the microphone when no scripts are involved and those mics are hot. Nobody… He’d [MJF] get killed,” Ray said, confidently doubling down on his claim that he’s untouchable in a no-script showdown.
During the same session, Bully Ray also confirmed that he’s currently under a Legends contract with WWE, a move that keeps him tied to the company while he continues to co-host Busted Open on SiriusXM. Bully’s comments have only fueled fans’ curiosity about whether we could see him in more unscripted showdowns in the future.
