The New Day is considered one of the best tag teams in WWE history, and it’s easy to understand why as they have accomplished a lot in the business together. Fans never want the team to ever split up as that seems impossible to them. That being said, it appears WWE’s current plans for The New Day as breakup speculation persist has been revealed.

For the past few months, there have been tensions between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on Monday Night RAW, with WWE essentially making it clear The New Day will not remain together.

It was recently confirmed that WWE will be holding a special episode of Monday Night RAW to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The New Day in the company. The group made their in-ring debut on November 28, 2014 and their contributions to the industry simply can’t be understated.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The New Day will break up soon. With WWE announcing a special 10th anniversary Raw for The New Day, many people think the breakup will happen during that show. However, WWE could trick fans by making them think it won’t happen, only to surprise them with it after the anniversary episode. The special episode makes it seem as if the breakup won’t happen before then.

WWE has already filmed a lot of content for The New Day’s 10th anniversary on Monday Night RAW. Therefore, only time will tell if WWE will pull the trigger and actually break up the New Day, as fans still believe it may never happen.
