WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has accomplished a lot in his long and illustrious career. The legendary tag team wrestler even made an appearance on NXT this week, but he didn’t get physical and now the reason behind that has been revealed.

As seen during the November 6 episode of NXT, Bully Ray and Trick Williams squared off against Ridge Holland and Ethan Page in tag team action. Williams would ultimately get pinned by Holland but that wasn’t the end of the show.

After all, Bubba and Trick also performed some classic Dudley Boyz moves, with Bubba setting Trick up for a big move through a table. Initially, there was no table, but then D-Von Dudley came out with one and then Bubba and Williams hit the 3D on Ethan Page through the table to make the fans happy.

However, some fans were surprised D-Von Dudley didn’t get physical and stayed out of in-ring action. According to Fightful Select, D-Von Dudley stayed out of the ring on this week’s episode of NXT because he is not medically cleared to compete or get physical in any manner.

D-Von Dudley has not competed inside the squared circle since the IWC Superstar Showdown V event on April 27th. Regardless, we will have to wait and see if D-Von Dudley will make more appearances on WWE television somewhere down the line and possibly compete again, as fans would love to see that happen.
