WWE featured the fallout after Crown Jewel 2024 this week on SmackDown. That included hashing out what went down between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. This was not a good night for the Apex Predator.
Kevin Owens and Randy Orton went to war at Crown Jewel, but that didn’t result in an actual match. The two started that initial battle over the fact that Orton sided with Cody Rhodes when Owens attacked the American Nightmare. Now, we are dealing with the aftermath of the premium live event.
Randy Orton showed up on SmackDown’s November 8 episode, and he wasn’t happy. He took to the ring, and he called out Kevin Owens in a big way.
Kevin Owens hit the ring wearing a “Kevin Is Right” t-shirt. Obviously, he is not going to be swayed that he is on the wrong side of any argument or fight.
Randy and Kevin started fighting in the ring, and then Owens nailed a piledriver. This caused Orton to stay on the mat, and things didn’t look good.
WWE’s medical team and officials surrounded Randy Orton after that. Then they brought out a stretcher, and after securing him, they carted the Viper out. He was then taken away in an ambulance into the Buffalo, New York night.
We will have to see how things pan out for Randy Orton, but this turn of events could certainly stretch out his rivalry with Kevin Owens. Obviously, there is a ton of unfinished business between the two.
