Hazuki has secured her spot as the number-one contender for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship, and her upcoming showdown with Mercedes Moné promises fireworks.

Earning the right to challenge for the title, Hazuki triumphed in a four-way match against Trish Adora, Anna Jay, and Koguma in Lowell, Massachusetts. The victory came when Hazuki pinned Adora with a well-executed cradle, solidifying her shot at the championship.

But Hazuki’s night wasn’t over just yet. To her surprise, Mercedes Moné made an unannounced appearance at NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed. The crowd erupted as the champion entered the ring to confront her challenger. Mercedes wasted no time in hyping up their championship match, which is set to take place at NJPW Strong Style Evolved in December. Addressing Hazuki directly, Mercedes acknowledged her impressive win but warned that stepping into the ring with her would be an entirely different challenge.

Hazuki grabbed the microphone and declared that the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship was rightfully hers. Tensions boiled over as the two women exchanged blows, culminating with Mercedes dropping Hazuki with a Backstabber. Mercedes then taunted the live crowd with a dance before exiting the ring, leaving a fired-up Hazuki in her wake.
