Melina Denies Signing Any New WWE Contract

She referenced PWInsider’s 2020 report that claimed she signed with WWE, which she later refuted, clarifying that while talks occurred, no contract was ever finalized.

When asked if she would consider signing a WWE Legends Deal, Melina’s response was nuanced. Shaking her head, she noted that while such deals often come with financial benefits, they also come with restrictions. “It just all depends on what they take away from your life. Of course, there will be more money and this and that. But it’s not about the money for me. It’s about being able to be free to do what I want with what I was blessed with in wrestling,” Melina stated.
