Wrestling fans are getting an unexpected shakeup in Maryland this weekend as Kevin Nash has pulled out of his scheduled appearances due to an injury. MCW Pro Wrestling confirmed the news on Friday, announcing that WWE Hall of Famers JBL and Booker T will step in as replacements.

The official statement from MCW read, “We were informed early this morning that @RealKevinNash suffered an injury and will not be able to travel and attend either of our events this weekend. We have been working diligently to find suitable replacements and are happy to announce that #WWE Hall of Famers @BookerT5X and @JCLayfield will be taking his place.”

Fans who purchased meet-and-greet packages for Nash don’t need to worry. MCW confirmed that these packages will be honored for Booker T and JBL at their respective events. Refunds will also be available, either by email or at the venue.

Here’s what to expect:

  • November 10: JBL will take the spotlight in Joppa, Maryland, for #FanJam3, a joint event hosted by MCW and Adrenaline Championship Wrestling featuring MJF and the originally-scheduled Nash.

Kevin Nash’s absence is undoubtedly disappointing for many, but fans can still look forward to an exciting lineup with the addition of Booker T and JBL.
