The November 6th episode of WWE NXT brought back a lot of memories for fans as it was held at the 2300 Arena, the former home of ECW. Several ECW legends made an appearance, including Rhino, Nunzio, and D-Von Dudley and now the internal reaction to the show has been revealed.

NXT Champion Trick Williams teamed up with Bubba Ray Dudley for a tag team match against Ethan Page and Ridge Holland. The show also featured a hardcore match between Jaida Parker and Lola Vice, with Dawn Marie serving as the special guest referee. On top of that, RVD helped Je’Von Evans defeat Wes Lee.

PWInsider reports that talent was impressed by the event’s atmosphere and expressed a desire for WWE to return to the 2300 Arena, even if just for live events. The ECW Originals were also happy to offer advice to anyone who asked.

There is hope among the talent that WWE will do similar tapings in other iconic locations, with one star specifically mentioning the Hammerstein Ballroom as a potential future venue for NXT.
