WWE is constantly trying to grow worldwide, and they’ve started a new program called WWE ID (WWE Independent Development™). In fact, it appears that more people have been signed as part of this program.

As reported earlier, WWE’s new Independent Development program officially signed its first talent, Zayda Steel. She was discovered in Combat Zone Wrestling, a well-known indie wrestling promotion. Steel, originally from Washington D.C. and a standout in indie wrestling, brings her skills and experience as the first person signed under this new program.

WWE ID’s official Twitter account then took to the social media platform and announced two more names that have signed with the program. They are Bryce Donovan and Cappucino Jones.

Bryce Donovan, who has almost ten years of wrestling experience, is also joining WWE ID. He has a background with CZQ, Ring of Honor, and WrestlePro, among others. From 2021 to 2022, Donovan wrestled in AEW, where he faced stars like MJF, Jake Hager, Wheeler Yuta, and The Acclaimed. Though he served mainly as enhancement talent, he left with a challenging 0-5 win/loss record.

Cappucino Jones, from Coffeyville, Kansas—the same town that produced wrestlers Mildred Burke and Trevor Murdoch—has been wrestling since 2022. Known as “Cold Brew,” he competed on AEW Rampage in February against The Young Bucks and took part in Ring of Honor’s Cage of Agony match in July.

WWE also has numerous long-term plans for their indie developmental program which will see more and more independent talent make their way into the program. With three signings already announced, fans can expect to see more signings being confirmed this week as well.
