Jake Hager wasn’t the most popular star in AEW but he did make a name for himself in the company thanks to his involvement with Chris Jericho. Following his AEW exit, Hager made headlines after endorsing Donald Trump and it appears has been pulled from an indie show following his endorsement.

Jake Hager is no longer with Tony Khan’s company, which didn’t surprise many fans as he wasn’t heavily featured. Since his departure, Hager has been wrestling on the independent circuit but hasn’t been involved in many major events.

The U.S. Presidential Elections have revealed the political stances of many professional wrestlers who previously kept their views private. Jake Hager is one of these stars, openly expressing his full support for Donald Trump due to his strong opposition to abortion.

“Yes i am support Trump . Yes im against killing babies . I guess that makes me a racist.”

Jake Hager didn’t stop at expressing his support for Trump; he went further by accusing Tony Khan of being a communist and claimed that Khan attempted to silence him and threatened his job for promoting Donald Trump.

Blitzkrieg Pro took to Twitter and announced that Jake Hager will no longer be appearing at their December 14th event in Enfield, CT. The decision was influenced by sponsors no longer being willing to work with him following his Donald Trump endorsement, along with the organization’s commitment to prioritize what’s best for their roster and fans. They are now working on finding a replacement and confirmed that several other talents are still scheduled to appear.

“Jake Hagar will no longer be appearing on December 14th in Enfield, CT. On top of sponsors no longer being willing to work with him, we also just have to do what we think is right for our roster and fans. We’re going to get to work on a replacement asap, however, a few people that are signed to appear:

Donald Trump ended up winning the U.S. Presidential Elections, but Jake Hager ultimately harmed his reputation by publicly endorsing Trump in such a manner, and there’s very little he can do to improve his current situation.
