Bubba Ray Dudley shocked fans at NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 when he got physical. This only came after Ridge Holland disrespected him multiple times throughout the show, and then he jumped Trick Williams after the main event match. All of that came to a head during the November 6 NXT.

NXT took over the 2300 Arena for their November 6 episode of the show. This ECW Arena show was special, and that encouraged them to book some big names from the land of extreme on the card.

Despite playing with the idea that Bubba Ray Dudley would reject the match, they eventually seized the opportunity to book the WWE Hall of Famer as he teamed up with Trick Williams to take on Ridge Holland and “All Ego” Ethan Page.

Trick Williams and Bubba Ray Dudley received huge ovations when they made their way to the ring. This was no surprise, as the 2300 Arena was on fire all night long.

Bubba didn’t start the match, but he got Ridge Holland’s attention as the former rugby standout took a cheap shot at Bubba. This caused Dudley to take a tag into the match. Then it was Bubba vs Ridge as fans chanted, “Bubba’s gonna kill you.”

Fans started chanting “We Want Tables,” as Bubba hit his classic striking combo on Ethan Page. Then Trick Williams used Bubba as a springboard to nail both of them, which sent the heels out of the ring.

When we got back from commercial, Ridge Holland helped take Bubba down with a cheap shot while the referee wasn’t looking. The match continued and Bubba nailed a spear on Page so he could get the tag with Trick Williams.

Trick hit a Book End, but the pinfall was broken up. Then Ethan almost got a Ego’s Edge on Trick, but Bubba broke it up. Suddenly, Ridge Holland rolled up Trick Williams and got the pinfall. This was a shocking finish for the match, and then the heels started beating down Trick, but Bubba fought back and the babyfaces ended up celebrating in the end despite the loss.

The two pulled off some classic Dudley Boyz moves, including Bubba sending Trick after a table. Then there was no table, but D-Von Dudley brought one out anyway, much to the delight of the Philly fans.

What’s your take on the 2300 Arena show and Bubba Ray Dudley’s involvement?
