Pro wrestling has a lot of couples, and fans are usually happy to see a new item pop up. Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins’ relationship surprised some when they announced that they were together, but now it’s common knowledge that The Man and the Visionary are husband and wife.
Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins have been together since January 2019, when they first started dating. Just a few months later, in April 2019, the couple went public with their relationship, making headlines and capturing the attention of fans. Their commitment deepened in August of that same year when they announced their engagement, further solidifying their partnership both in and out of the ring.
While speaking to The Pivot, Seth Rollins approached a subject that a lot of fans have wondered about, as he shared how they first hooked up.
“I was shooting my shot ahead of time, I was talking a big game, trying to make things a little bit more romantic, I was like over the platonic stuff, and we also hadn’t been single at the same time, really. Let’s get down to business, so I had turned up my flirting game, but I also hadn’t seen her a lot, so I was texting, talking, and then we finally found ourselves in a room and she game out of the shower in a towel, and she gave me that look like ‘put up or shut up.’ I was not expecting that. It is not her personality type, but I was like– alright, this is it, we’re for real here, this is the real deal.”
In December 2020, Lynch and Rollins welcomed their first child, a daughter named Roux, adding a new chapter to their lives. Becky Lynch decided that she wanted to take that time off to have a child during her Beer Bash with Stone Cold on 3:16 Day.
The following summer, in June 2021, the couple officially tied the knot, surrounded by family and friends. Both Lynch and Rollins are not only dedicated to their craft in the wrestling world, but are also deeply supportive of each other’s careers, creating a strong foundation for their family and professional lives alike.
Seth Rollins said that he wasn’t playing any role like Architect, Visionary, or Messiah, because “that was for me.” He went on to say, “that was my day,” while laughing a bit.
