Roxanne Perez is making waves in the NXT women’s division, where she’s embraced a leadership role among a fresh influx of top-tier talent. The division, which helped redefine women’s wrestling in North America a decade ago with stars like Bayley, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair (known as the Four Horsewomen), is once again on the rise. And now, Perez is leading the charge, alongside talents such as Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and ZARIA.

In a recent interview on the In The Kliq podcast with Baby Huey, Perez shared her thoughts on the current NXT women’s roster and embraced the idea that she and her peers are following in the footsteps of the Four Horsewomen

“So I actually saw a post about this the other day, and I agree with it very much,” Perez explained. “It would be me, Cora Jade, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia. I feel like we’re a little alike in different ways, in the same way being that we have always wanted to be a part of the WWE since we were young. We put in those years, those 1,000 hours to become great, and now we’re able to be a part of the greatest women’s division in the world.”

With each of these rising stars bringing unique strengths to the ring, Perez believes that they’re carving a new legacy in NXT. Fans are eager to see how this new era unfolds, especially as Perez and her crew continue to push boundaries within WWE’s developmental brand.
